Why is your homemade Cold Brew flat?

All it needs is a "hot bloom"

YOUT KIT

  • 1 large brew bag for the cold brew base

  • 1 small brew bag to make the coffee ice cubes

  • 1 ice cube mold

STEP 1

  • Place the large brew bag into a pitcher.

  • Pour 100 ml of boiling water and let it bloom for 20–30 seconds.

  • Add 500 ml of ambient water right after.

  • Refrigerate for 8 to 10 hours.

STEP 2

  • Place the small brew bag into a tall glass.

  • Pour 250 ml of boiling water and let it steep for 2 minutes.

  • Remove the bag and pour into the ice cube mold.

  • Place in the freezer overnight.

ENJOY

  • Remove the brew bag from the pitcher.

  • Pour 200 ml of base, add 2 coffee ice cubes.

  • Drink it black or make it creamy with any milk you prefer.
